Removed old check valve. Not easy to being overly tight and frame of compressor limited access to it. AC line that was disconnected and with with a ferrule keeping the original nut on it should mate with the new check valve. Ferrule would not come off as it had slightly distorted the line so I couldn\'t use the new nut Machining on the threads were ever so slightly different that they did not want to mesh together. No ,they were not cross threaded. Some silicone lube and careful wrenching got them together. Wasn\'t happy about the fit but it worked. Guess I should have changed the AC line which was perfectly fine.
