The pressure switch tells your compressor when to start and stop building up the pressure. This is an authentic manufacturer supplied replacement part that is specially designed for Black and Decker, Porter Cable and DeVilbiss air compressors. Common symptoms of a faulty pressure switch include a motor that continues to run regardless of pressure until the safety valve opens or a compressor that simply will not turn on at all. Please note this part is sold individually, to replace it you will need: screwdriver, wrench set, pliers and thread sealing tape.
