This is an authentic Coleman-made tent pole. It is a steel two-part pole designed to lock together. It works with the roof poles to act as a frame that holds and supports the tent fabric in place. This listing is for the short leg pole; note that the long leg pole kit is sold separately as part # 5010000678.
