Perk Tube 94183

My coffee pot sounded like little explosions going off when brewing and pumped grounds to a point of overflowing into the pot. I cleaned my old perk tube valve at the bottom to no avail. Replacing this simple device solved my problem. That valve floating freely on the new tube allows the heated water to perk exactly as designed originally, returning my coffee pot to brew as new. Extremely satisfied. Reasonable shipping time and cost.

Great OEM product! I thought I was going to have to replace the thermostat/ heat sensor or whatever stops the brew cycle and I just happened to notice that there was a bend in the tube and the little washer at the bottom wasn't seating quite properly. I tried the E-Clip trick I saw in a forum but that didn't look like it would work. This new tube was worth the extra money. This was my grandmother's coffee maker. I am patching it up until it won't run any more. I have replaced the handle that cracked, the light cover with a marker cap(it was missing when I got it) and the cord. So far I have more in it than it is worth, but this thing has been perking coffee for more than 50 years! Seems like I got a good one and should stick with it. BTW.. the cleaning, via Baking Soda and Vinegar trick, works really well for these! You can find that on youtube.
