This Plastic Tip has been manufactured by Krups for use on multiple models of espresso makers. The tip is made of a dense heat resistant plastic. The Tip is used on the frothing/steam wand. The Tip aids in the froth production and helps to protect the user from burns. This part should be replaced if it becomes cracked or broken. This part simply pulls off and can be pushed back on until a slight click is felt.
