This genuine manufacturer-supplied drawer is made for Krups coffee makers. It is a special component which allows a user to eliminate any deposits of coffee grounds above the percolation chamber. Check the owner's manual for your specific model to ensure the correct repair procedure. It is an identical replacement for a missing or a damaged component that was installed on a new unit. Removed the old drawer and cleaned out accumulated grounds with a small circular brush slid the replacement drawer back in. Use a light to make sure the inner workings don\'t have any more grounds. Might have to use a small knife to scrape any remaining hardened grounds.
