It is made out of plastic and does not include the metal mesh filter, which is sold individually. Replacing this part is easy and does not require any tools. Broken basket clip which would not snap and hold in place.
I replaced the old basket with a new basket. I took the old cup holder insert out and placed it in the new basket.
I checked the basket with coffee holder to make sure it snapped in place.
