Rather than toss an expensive, not too old espresso machine, I decided to take it apart and have a look at what was causing the leaking. Once inside, it was obvious that the tube carrying the water from the fill tank to the pressurized section had been pushed down against a hot plate during the assembly process. The part touching the pla ... Read more te eventually melted and a small hole was created. This was where the pressurized water was spewing from. There are pins on either end holding the tube in place and this was very easy to pry up and remove. I pushed the new tube in place and re-inserted the holding pins. In order to re-attach the outside cover, the tube had to be pushed down a bit, but this time I made sure it would not be up against the hot plate. eReplacement Parts came to the rescue. My orrder was filled and shipped very quickly and I received it in a few days. The espresso machine is now working like a charm!

Removed housing and replaced leaking tube and replaced the spring retainers.
