This is an authentic DeLonghi replacement part that has been sourced from the original manufacturer to be used with coffee makers. The clear plastic lid is used to cover the top of the water tank to prevent contaminants from entering the tank. The lid is sold individually. Tools may not be needed to install this item, please note the hinge is available separately.
