This is to replace the pump on a DeLonghi BAR32.

Follow the steps from - https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/De%27Longhi+EC155+Water+Pump+Replacement/52184

With the following differences -

1. Removing the screws requires a special 6-point, star-shaped driver, with a recess to allow for a dimple in the screw heads. A standard driver without the recess will not work.
2. The middle unit, holding the heating unit, must be removed from the main case by unfastening two tabs and applying some pressure to release. This will expose the pump unit.

Removed few screws on the under side cover , and after removed the back panel which can only be removed from inside. Disconnected the two electrical wires to the pump and the water tube. Removed the pump, placed the new pump connected the wires and the water tube, and tested before I closed all the access panels

Below is the model of mine that broke:
MAGNIFICA S AUTOMATIC ESPRESSO MACHINE - ECAM 23.210.B

First, I thought it was the Valve (part #5513227961) because water was still coming out of the cappuccino frothier. I ordered the value through this site and replaced the value. That was a difficult repair. Then, it sounded li ke the pump stopped working. I ordered the pump (part #5113211291), replaced it, and the coffee machine worked like new! What I think happened was that the clogged valve put pressure on the pump since the pump would work but was unable to push any water through the machine. I think the pump burnt itself out as a result of the clogged valve. Anyways, I had difficulty finding any parts for my machine (even Delonghi\'s official support site didn\'t have the parts), and am glad eReplacementParts had them in stock! $90 in repairs for a $1,000 espresso machine is waaaaay better than having to purchase a new one or send it out for repair!

The hardest part of the repair on my EAM3400.N Magnifica was reinstalling the upper pump support which i removed initially. In hindsight i should have left the support in place as I had to put it back on with a great deal of effort without the pump in its location. These are the steps I should have followed for this particular machine (If the pump support slides out instead of being held in a slot by hard rubber tabs, then you may be able to do this with removing the support and without disassembling the pump).

1. Remove back and sides
2. remove wires from pump
3. remove hoses from pump and valve (make sure not to lose the clips or the o-ring inside the valve for the upper hose.
4. rotate pump as needed to remove screws on the top
5. carefully remove upper part of pump from lower and remove pump from lower support
6. using a 12mm wrench, unscrew valve from upper pump shaft
7. remove small o-ring from old valve and insert in same location in new valve
8. place upper pump shaft through upper pump support
9. fasten valve to upper pump shaft using wrench
10. replace upper pump shaft into pump, making sure to keep all pump parts as they were when you removed the shaft, rotating pump as necessary to tighten screws holding pump shaft onto pump body
11. rotate pump into proper position
12. replace pump hoses, ensuring they are properly seated, reinstall clips where required
13. replace wires on pump.
14. start up machine and run one or two rinse cycles until water flows through machine
15, replace sides and back

Enjoy better espresso and milk frothing than you have had in a long time
