The Sump is used to hold the 2 Cup Filter Assembly (part number 7313285819) and the 1 Cup Filter Assembly (7313285829). This part is made from metal and has a plastic handle. This part should be replaced if the handle breaks or no longer holds the filters correctly. No tools are needed to replace this part.
