I just screwed in the new one on. Works and fits perfectly. This was for an espresso machine I had purchased more than 20 years ago and was thrilled to find replacement parts still available. I had been making espresso and then heating up the milk in the microwave.

I tried out the new one and had excellent results the firs t try. Lots of froth, nice tight foam. Now I can make real lattes and cappuccinos right here at home. No comparison to microwaving the milk. I also use the frother for making hot chocolate.
