This part comes directly from Delonghi. This O-Ring is used in multiple models of Delonghi coffee makers. The O-Ring is made from a high temp silicone. This O-Ring is used to seal steam, water, and frothed milk depending on the model it is installed in. The O-Ring should be replaced if it no longer holds a good seal due to cracks, tears, or becomes hardened. Caution should be taken to not over stretch the gasket when installing it.
