This is a genuine manufacturer-sourced replacement part for use with Braun Coffee and Espresso Machines. The lid is used to keep the coffee inside the carafe and keep its temperature. This is made of a white plastic and is sold as an individual replacement part. To replace simply place on top of the carafe opening and push it in gently.
