1. Removed four screws from the clipper body/handle.
2. Separated the halves of the body/handle.
3. Unplugged the power cable from the circuit board and removed.
4. Plugged in the new power cable to the circuit board.
5. Pressed the moulded rubber retainer part of the cable into the opening on the body/handle.

Electrical wire damaged from normal use of clippers right at the cable strain relief.
1. Removed 4 screws and opened up clipper housing.
2. Disconnected two wire leads from main circuit board.
3. Removed cable and cleaned out the clippers from any dog hair.
4. Installed new cable and connected wire leads onto circuit board.
5. Replaced cover back onto clippers and secured with 4 screws.
