This part comes directly from Andis. The Hinge is used on multiple models of Andis hair clippers. The Hinge holds the blade into place allowing the Blade Drive to move the cutter on the blade back and forth. The Hinge should be replaced if it no longer has enough tension to secure the blade. To replace the Hinge two Philips Head Screws need to be removed. Once they are removed replacing the hinge will be simple. Tools used: • Philips Head Screwdriver

Easy repair, quick fix
The hinge I ordered was brand new and fit my bgrc clipper perfectly. The old hinge original part had worn out and the blades wouldn't stay latched on.
