This is an authentic Porter Cable replacement part, sourced from the original manufacturer for use with circular saws. This special retaining ring is commonly used to secure the bevel and height adjustment levers. This retaining ring can have other functions depending on the model of the saw. The retaining ring is available as an individual replacement part, please see model diagram for part location and usage.
