The purpose of this flange is to helps securing the grinding wheel to the spindle/shaft. It is a metal part and it is sold individually. You would need a wrench to remove blade bolt when replacing this flange.

1. Removed the present inner and outer flanges.
2. Replaced the present flanges with the new ones.
3. Tightened down the blade bolt with the new flanges and blade.
4. Works perfectly.

Remove blade bolt and front outer flange. Replace inner flange. I also replace the blade bolt and outer flange

Circular saw was missing the inner flange to keep the blade tight and secure.

Sandwiched the blade in between the inner and outer flanges and tightened the nut with the hex key I also ordered.

1. Removed the supplied Allen wrench from the tool handle.
2. Locked the blade using the brake.
3. Used the Allen wrench to loosen and remove the blade and outer flange.
4. Installed the inner flange and reassembled.

One of my colleagues for an unknown reason grinded the inner blade flange. I ordered a new one and replaced it and the saw works like new

Made sure the saw was unplugged. Removed the blade with the Allen wrench. Took the old inner blade flange and replaced it with the new one.
Put the blade back on. Tighten the nut. Circular saw is ready to chop some more wood
