1. When you take apart any tool, have some writing paper handy. Place the removed parts on that paper and make a note of what it is and where it goes. Especially screws of different lengths and types. Take a cell picture to help in re-assembly. Always unplug or remove batteries from the saw so it can\'t start.

3. Use Allen wrench to remove clevis pin from shoe at the rear of the Depth guide.
4. Use wrench to remove clevis bolt from the front side of Depth guide.
5. Use snap ring pliers to remove blade guard and spring.
6. Unscrew all the Philips screws holding the handle together.
7. Use a knife to separate the handle halves, exposing the machine screws holding the blade case to the motor. Make note of Trigger switch and Trigger Lock.
8. Remove machine screws and separated the blade case from motor.
9. Screw new blade case to motor with the clutch of the power drill set to 7.
10. Screw handles together.
11. Re-attach blade guard using grease on the interface and adding appropriate grease to the gears.
12. Placed new depth guide in place of bent depth guide.
13. Re-attache the depth guide to the front and back of the shoe.
14. Replace Saw Blade
15. Exposing the blade, use a square to adjust the Allen set screw on the shoe making the blade perpendicular to shoe.
16. Blade guard should rotate and return freely.
17. Blade should rotate freely.
18. The Trigger Lock and Trigger should work correctly.
19. The shoe should rotate freely and lock securely.
20. Investigate and replace if there are any parts left over? Double check all screws are secure.
21. Plug in or replace batteries.
22. Put on safety glasses and start saw noting any irregularities.
