Front Shoe bracket broke off shoe plate

1. the rear shoe bracket needed to be unattached from the saw body by removing the depth adjusting knob using torx driver, then backing off the tightening screw - it is left threaded! The bolt to fasten the adjusting slide stays in the blade shield. The whole shoe plate then comes away and can be discarded.
2. Drove the spiral pi n out of the front bracket and saw to remove the front bracket, which was then discarded.
3. The new shoe assembly was lined up and the spiral pin (which provides the pivot for adjusting saw blade depth) driven back into place.
4. The depth adjusting screw and knob were reassembled. remember the depth adjusting slide belt is left threaded.
5. Voila - good as new!
