The handle assembly was badly worn out,needed to be replaced.
Removed all the handle assembly screws with my power drill, careful not to strip them and placed all the screws in a small container, Separated the two halfÆs. Inside the housing you will find that there are others smaller screws that hold your electrical cord in place, but before you start removing either take a picture or a mental note
... Read more as to the configuration of the cord because you will have to put the cord exactly back the way it was or your two halves will not close properly. Remove the screws that hold the electrical cord and separate it from your saw. Place the new half that holds the electrical cord first, replace the electrical cord fasteners then the other half of the handle reattach all the handle screws and your done.
