Remove the handle cover
Make a wiring diagram
Remove the wires from the switch
Remove the cord relief from the old cord and put in on the new cord
Connect the cord wires to the switch
Connect the motor wires to the switch
Screw on the handle cover

Cut in cord

Remove the handle cover
Remove the screw holding the switch
Remove the cord clamp
Remove the cord from the switch
Put the new cord protector on the new cord
Cut and strip the cord leads to length, attach terminals
Install the parts in reverse order

Bad power cord

Took out all handle screws to remove top from bottom handle. Strip new cord wires, crimp quick connect to switch wire and slide on to switch, wire nut other line, put handle back together, plug in, test switch to run, finished.

Circular saw power cord damaged

1. Removed Torx screws securing saw handle cover to access power cord terminations.
2. Disconnected spade connector on power cord white wire termination.
3. Removed screw lug on switch to disconnect power cord black wire termination.
4. Removed strain relief, cord mounting clamp and damaged power cord and from saw. ... Read more >5. Stripped new power cord outer jacket insulation and cut black and white wires to lengths matching original cord and installed strain relief and mounting clamp on new power cord.
6.Stripped white wire and installed male crimp spade terminal.
7. Stripped black wire and installed crimp screw terminal.
8. Connected white wire spade connecter and black wire to switch screw lug connector.
9. Routed wires to match original installation.
10. Secured strain relief and cord mounting clamp to saw.
11. Installed saw handle access cover and secured with Torx screws.
12. Tested saw operation.

Slid the cord relief from the old cord and slid it on the new cord
Connected the new cord to the switch
Screwed in the cord clamp

Cord had been cut so many times, strain relief was worn out

1. Separate the handle and take out the old cord.
2. Wire up the new cord and reinstall the handle.
3. Remove the brush caps, install the new brushes and put the caps back on.

Removed top portion of palm sander. Disconnected the black and white wires from motor. Slipped strain reliever over new cord and placed strain reliever into slot in top of sander. Connected white and black wires to same on motor and covered with wire nuts. Screwed top back on. About a ten minute job.

I unscrewed the handle. Then unscrewed the power cord housing. Disconnected the black and white wires and replaced the power cord. Connected the black and white wires and screwed the housing and handle back up.
