It is an authentic OEM component which is made for Black and Decker and DeWALT circular saws. This is the special lever which allows a user to lock the guard in place. If the part is damaged or is missing, this will provide an identical replacement for the original component that was installed on a new unit. The lock lever is made of durable metal and is sold individually. To ensure the exact location and the correct replacement procedure, refer to the appropriate diagrams for your model. A screwdriver and pliers will be needed to remove the old one and attach the new lock lever.
