This is a genuine replacement part manufactured for use with circular saws. Washers are commonly used to disperse pressure from a nut or bolt across a wider surface area to prevent damage to a part assembly. This washer is used to secure the blade of a circular saw. The arbor hole of the washer matches the arbor of the motor and gearbox, and the depression in the center of the washer lowers the profile of the blade bolt. This clamp washer is sold as an individual replacement part.
