Remove the screws from the handle assembly
Removed the wires from the switch
Cut the wires to the correct length
Connect the new cord wires to the switch
Place switch and cord relief in place
Screw the handle assembly back together
removed all screws for the cover over. Cut the original wires inside the handle. Removed the original cord. Installed the replacement cord. Trimmed both black and white leads. Attached to white and black leads in the handle. Attached white and black wires with wire nuts. Applied electrical tape over the wire nuts. Reattached
