These are authentic replacement parts that are supplied by the original equipment manufacturer for use with Metabo saws. The purpose of these brushes is to conduct the current in an electric motor by maintaining physical contact with an armature, over time the material will wear away eventually requiring a replacement to maintain peak performance. It is a complete set which includes two high-quality carbon brushes with attached lead wires and springs, please note brush holders are sold separately.
