This is a DeWALT replacement part directly sourced from the manufacturer for use in saws. The clamp washer goes between the blade adapter and the blade clamp. A screwdriver might be needed during the installation process. It is made of metal and will require replacing if it becomes broken. This is available as an individual replacement part but keep in mind that two may be needed.
