This high quality switch is an authentic OEM supplied item, it is not an aftermarket imitation. It is specially designed for Black and Decker and Dewalt chop saws. This switch allows user to turn the tool on and off. Mechanical switches over time tend to wear our and begin to fail eventually requiring replacement. Please note, one plastic switch is included per order. To replace this switch you will need a screwdriver.

Remove upper handle. Then removed the cord clamp. Removed the switch from the lower handle , then made a wiring diagram. Removed the wires fro the old switch and placed them on the new switch. Installed the new switch and cord clamp, then attached the upper handle half.
