This is a genuine OEM replacement part used on chop saws. The purpose of the brush cap is to hold the brush in the brush holder. This cap has external threads that thread into the housing of the tool. Be careful when removing and replacing these, they have a tendency to break. This item is made out of plastic and it is sold individually.
