This is an authentic OEM sourced item which is specially produced for use with Delta saws. The carbon brush goes between the brush cap and the brush holder. A screwdriver and a set of pliers might be necessary during the installation of this part. It may become broken and will need to be replaced. This is available as an individual replacement part even though two are required. It is made out of metal and plastic.
