This is a genuine DeWALT, Black & Decker, and Porter Cable replacement part used in compatible chop saws. The adapter goes next to the clamp washer and is made out of metal. You may need a screwdriver when replacing this part. It may become broken and will need to be replaced. This is available as an individual replacement part even though two may be needed.
