The design of the equipment, literally requires totally disassembly of unit to get access to blades The chute and leaf hopper. It does make it simpler to take both apart and replace all blades at same time. This allows free access to all fasteners

Removed the old hinge by removing 4 bolts.
Replaced with new hinge by placing 4 bolts.
Painted new hinge with paint to match chipper.
Easy peasy.
