Shredder cover was broke and wouldnGÇÖt engage the safety switch on my echo leaf blower/vac.
Removed bolts from screen/vacuum tube safety switch
Remove screws on suction blower case-Do not remove bolt holding throttle
Remove case
Remove bolt holding fan and shredder blade in place-need metric Allen wrench
Align new fan with the three circular alignment depressions
Use medium lock tight, re assemble f

I had a broken safety cover that covered the blades for the chipper assembly on the blower
It was easy to fix. All I did was remove the broken cover put the spring and the lock assy on the new piece and then snapped in the new one, it was that easy and it took maybe 2 minutes.
