This repair required a complete disassembly of all guards and covers in order to get to the bearings. Once they were exposed, it was a simple matter of removing the input shaft and sheave followed by four bolts holding the two bearings. All of the new parts fit perfectly and were assembled in reverse order. The hardest part was getting the pulleys to line up perfectly. A 3\' long level was used to make sure the two were square to each other and in alignment while the bolts were tightened. This was the only time an extra person was needed.
