This is an OEM Husqvarna replacement part manufactured for chainsaws. This oil pump assembly is an auto oiler, that sends oil to the clutch drum while the chainsaw is running. Removed recoil cover to check for oil line blockage. Realized it had an oil pump. Removed spark plug and inserted a bolt that would just slide into the plug hole. ... Read moreose fairly easy. REALIZE THIS! Excessive force can cause internal damage to the engine, so be cautious. My old pump had strings of bark and grass to lock it up. Reassembled in reverse order and it worked great. I did not have to replace the steel drive gear but it may be necessary on others.
