I misdiagnosed this from the beginning. I thought carburater problem but even a new carb didn\'t help. I thought air leak on manifold boot but changing that didn\'t help. You have to disassemble the complete saw to replace this unit. I made my own flywheel puller using the threaded holes of the recoil fingers.10-32 threads. Stuff the rope in the spark plug hole to lock the piston to remove the clutch.You also need to switch the piston from the old crank assembly to the new one.The crank assembly does not come with a wrist pin bearing. Might as well replace the piston ring as you are this far. Inspect the piston and bore as you can buy this as an assembly also. If you can do all this you don\'t need my instructions. Honestly, you may as well buy a new saw at this point. My saw is running like new now but I did buy a new saw.
