This is a genuine Husqvarna replacement part sourced from the original manufacturer for use with chainsaws. The special ignition module is used to create an electric charge when the magnet on the flywheel passes the ignition module. The electric charge is sent to the spark plug to ignite the fuel/air mixture in the combustion chamber. This ignition module is available as an individual replacement part.
