This is an authentic OEM part for use with Husqvarna Chainsaws. The clutch connects to the crankshaft and engages the clutch drum to spin the chain. The most common reasons for replacing the clutch are when the chain does not turn, won't stop turning, or does not cut properly. This part is sold individually. The tool that you will need to replace the clutch is a 13mm socket, large flat-head screwdriver, and a hammer.

Clutch wore out. Needed new air cleaner. Chain brake handle and spring broke.

1-Remove chain cover and remove chain and bar.
2-Pull spark plug out and insert small rope doubled up into plug hole (to hold piston from moving while removing clutch).
3-Install clutch removal tool on clutch (which has a 19mm nut) and remove clutch turning it direction of off arrow.
4-Pull clutch and drum off remove b earing and clean up clutch and oil pump area.
5-Reinstall bearing with new grease and drum with sprocket.
6- Reinstall clutch
7-Reinstall chain and bar and cover.
8-Pull rope out of plug hole and replace spark plug.


New chain break handle
1- remove chain cover.
2-remove two screwÆs ( 4mm Allen wrench) and remove handle.
3- install new chain break handle with screws and put chain cover back on.
