This part is an OEM from Husqvarna for use with Husqvarna Chainsaws. The recoil starter assembly spins the crankshaft to start the engine when you pull the rope. This part is sold individually. The most common reason for replacing the recoil starter assembly is if any of the parts it contains the starter rope, the rewind spring, and the recoil starter pulley is worn out or broken, causing the engine to not start. These parts can also be purchased and replaced individually. The toll that you will need to install the recoil starter is a screwdriver.
