Whomever says Husqvarna Saws are cheap don\'t believe them...

Actually the saws I have are great pieces of quality workmanship with raw power...
Built in the 80\'s and like you always say don\'t throw them out repair them...

It was evident that the rubber anti-vibration elements where worn and had seen thei r days.

What was confusing was the fact that while cutting the saw was stalling out...

This Saw a Husky 154SE has a lot of power for a compact saw and when I examining it I had noticed the mounts had fatigued and the rubber breaking apart. So I\'m assuming (I know never assume) that maybe the gas line was getting pinch from the lower part of the casing flexing from the 2 elements being fatigued/broken..

Well I order the parts thru the parts diagram (Thank you) and pulled off the 15\" bar and cover allowing access to the elements.

I removed both elements with a allen head sockets and I also needed a pick/hook set to pop out the element.

There was enough play with the base and main body of the saw to take out the 2 front anti vibration elements and just R&R the elements.

I put the unit back together as it was easy from there on.

Only problem was I still had issues with the say cutting out as it was still starving for gas.

Then it dawned on me that with an almost 40 year old saw (well 40+) I never changed the gas filter.

One gas filter and I was out in the field sawing away with a 40 year old Husqvarna 154SE...

It\'s nice to have a liter saw as the 242 or 154 saws as my 1200CD\'s are monster\'s but the power behind those saws are breathtaking...

Thx for all you do as a business and keeping my saws working...
