It is a genuine item that is supplied by the original manufacturer for use with Husqvarna and Jonsered chainsaws. The inner spike is utilized to grip the chainsaw to the tree as the chain cuts into a tree. Over time components may wear out or get damaged eventually requiring a replacement. Keep in mind this high-quality inner spike is made of durable metal and is sold as an individual item. Note, the hardware to secure it is sold separately. An Allen wrench might be needed to perform this repair.
