This is a genuine manufacturer-sourced part which is specially designed for use with Husqvarna and Jonsered chainsaws. The partition wall intake connects to the bellows helping to supply air into the carburetor. Over time it may wear out or get damaged eventually requiring a replacement. Make sure to refer to the appropriate diagrams for your model to ensure the correct application. One durable partition wall intake with a metal clamp is included. Pliers and a screwdriver may be needed to remove the old part and secure the new one.
1. Removed spark plug
2. Loosen bolts for pulley and removed pulley
3. Removed cylinder bolts
4. Removed cylinder head along with muffler bolts & unit

7. Installed new intake with appropriate metal clamp before final installation of each part.
8. Torqued each bolt to specs and installed each part along with new ZAMA carburetor replacing malfunctioning Walbro carburetor. Accelerator pump on Walbro carb malfunctioned. ZAMA carb fit perfectly for successful start up of Husky 357xp chain saw.
9. Chain saw runs like new with total rebuild of piston, piston rings, intake boot w/ metal clamp, ZAMA carburetor, and cleaning of fuel lines with system.
