This is a genuine replacement part manufactured for use with chainsaws, and other outdoor power equipment. The piston ring forms a seal between the cylinder and piston. This seal separates the combustion chamber, and the crankcase. A worn or broken piston ring will break the seal resulting in a loss of compression. The piston ring is sold individually.

Full engine disassembly and reconditioning. Cleaned engine and all parts, cleaned cylinder and replaced ring to get better compression, cleaned and adjusted plug, replaced fuel line with new, and adjusted carburetor. Replaced and adjusted starter rope, and changed engine/carburetor gaskets where needed from set assortment.
