Replaced isolator spring by screwing it in place with the two screws needed.
Removed the top cover of the chain saw, 3 screws on my saw. Removed the old filter, 2 screws
Positioned the new air filter and screwed it tight, replaced the cover, finished.
Very hard to crank and would not idle. Hub on the starter wore out and would not engage. Muffler assembly would come off when sawing for any length of time.
Replaced fuel line and fuel filter. No help. Pulled carb off and cleaned it and put it all back together. In the process messed up the choke lever. Still had problems. Ordered parts. Put everything together and it cranked up after more than a few pulls. Adjusted the idle on the new carb and now it cranks up easily and idles perfect

On the muffler, I had to order a new back plate because the chain mangled it when the muffler fell off. I just ordered the whole kit, and bought some red thread locker for the bolts. Seems to be working so far.
