This is an original part from Husqvarna. The plate is constructed of metal, and is fitted onto the chainsaw crankcase assembly. This protective component is sold individually, and a screwdriver is required for the removal and replacement.
Removed the old replaced the new some trouble lining screws up but is certainly do-able
