1. Remove both filler pieces with a small flat head screwdriver.
2. Use a small diameter punch to drive out the throttle pin, carefully remove it from the other side.
3. Once the pin is removed, lift the throttle lever from the rear. The spring will lift out with the lever.

5. Install new lever and spring by tilting the head of the lever down into the handle, while the lever is in this position guide the spring down inside the handle.
6 install guide pin into its original position, and check that it functions properly.
7. Re-install filler pieces.
