This is an authentic replacement part manufactured for use with Homelite chainsaws. The special nut is used to secure the muffler assembly to the cylinder exhaust port. The nut is fastened to the long muffler bolt that passes through the muffler assembly. This muffler nut is sold as an individual replacement part, please note the bolt is available separately.
