Need help finding your model number?This is a genuine part that is supplied by the original manufacturer for use with Hitachi chainsaws. When pulled, the starter rope rotates the starter pulley causing the engine turn fast enough to generate a spark to ignite the fuel in the chainsaw. This part is made up of the starter housing, the starter rope, the starter pulley, the starter spring, and the pull handle. For installation, you will need a screw driver and a pair of needle nose pliers.
