An E-ring is an item of hardware, usually a metal ring, shaped like the letter E that fits into a groove on a shaft for a snug fit. This OEM steel E-ring is for a chainsaw and is sold individually. It is located in between the side cover assembly and housing. You will need to remove the side cover assembly, which is secured with tapping screws, to access it.
