Need help finding your model number?This part is an OEM from Shindaiwa for use with Chainsaws. The most common reason for replacing the starter rope is when it is broken or frayed. The starter rope coils around the pulley of the recoil starter. This part is sold individually. The tools that you will need to replace the starter rope is a T25 Torx bit screwdriver, spring clamp, Phillips head screwdriver, and pliers.
